"I am an Englishman living in New York and looked at having my silver fillings removed, as i have no dental coverage in my insurance plan the cost would be between $8-$12,000. Yes $8-$12,000 US Dollars to remove my fillings and replace them with inlays. I looked at dentists in India for the following reasons ; India has a fantastic reputation for dentistry ( and other complicated medical procedures) Cost ($1,200- $2,000 US Dollars), Equipment in Surgery(on par and sometimes better than US!), Materials to be used (for inlays) and ability to see India at same time. I chose Dr Grover because of the following; Dr Grover was the only dentist (of the ones i contacted) to point out there could be complications with the treatment (ie root canal treatment). His ability to communicate clearly, intelligently and effectively letting me know all the things I needed to be aware of before my trip. The disclosure of all procedures, equipment and materials to be used that allowed me to cross reference with the internet and dentists in the USA (as before he surpassed most!). His cost (He uses the the SAME materials as other Indian dentist YET charges LESS). After reaching India Dr Grover examined my mouth and on reaching a mutual decision based on his experience, expertise and ABOVE ALL HIS INTEGRITY we agreed that i only need two fillings fixing and my teeth cleaned. I am certain through the power of personal experience and hindsight the OVER-TREATMENT is daily procedure in a lot of dental practices around the world, wrapped in smile and "dental jargon" that lulls the patient into a sense of pain-free security and out of many thousands of dollars to pay the dentists badly needed mortgage payments! On the other hand, it's easy to see why a person from Europe or America might look to the professionals of other countries to conduct their dental work: costs are far less in south Asia and professionalism and available treatments just as good--as long as one can find the right man or woman to do the job. Cue Dr. Arun Grover! As soon as I met Dr. Arun I knew I was in good and professional hands. If anything, I'd say he was rather more cautious than most other dentists I've known, never rushing any step of a planned treatment. In my own case, after a dental scan in the clinic next door to Dr. Arun's surgery, it was decided to go for a dental implant in my lower left jaw. Dr Arun carefully explained all the pros and cons and enabled me to make an informed decision about which implant to use and whether to go for immediate or delayed loading. In my case, as the bone seemed strong, I decided to go for immediate loading. The ensuing surgical procedure was carried out in conditions of the highest professionalism and cleanliness, and a computer guided model made it unnecessary for the gum to be cut beyond a small incision for the titanium root. After the root had been placed, we waited a short time before adding the crown three or four days later. The whole process was entirely painless for both my mouth and my pocket book (I imagine the same procedure in Europe or America would have been at least three times more expensive!) Finally, and though it may be hard to believe, the whole procedure from first visit to the final fitting of the crown took no more than ten days! I recommend Dr. Arun's services heartily and without any reserve.
